During the 1980’s these homes were the most important and influential residential development in Chicago. The Embassy Club demonstrated that luxury housing can be built on 7 acres of post industrial land. These highly stylized homes are inspired by 18th and 19th century London architecture. The building’s architect, Pappa George Haymes Partners, earned an Excellence in Masonry Silver Award from the Illinois Indiana Masonry Council for its work on the Embassy Club.
